Evidence methodology

Verification is a dated evidence record—not a permanent badge.

The methodology separates information received from a supplier, desk checks, third-party work and real buyer validation.

01

Manufacturer-provided

Supplier document, statement, quotation, image or video. Source and date recorded; no independent conclusion implied.

02

Desk-checked

Public records, document consistency, remote demonstration or cross-source review completed within stated limits.

03

Third-party verified

An identified competent party completed a defined inspection, test or audit on a stated date.

04

Buyer-validated

A real project produced relevant evidence and permission exists to disclose it.

Report anatomy

What every conclusion should show.

  • Exact claim or question
  • Product model and configuration
  • Evidence source
  • Review or test date
  • Verification level
  • Finding and confidence
  • Unknowns and limitations
  • Recommended next check
Correction process

Suppliers should be able to correct factual errors.

A supplier may submit source evidence to correct an identity, specification or document record. Corrections are logged, dated and reviewed; commercial pressure does not change an evidence label.

Negative findings are shared only within an appropriate project context unless publication is lawful, evidenced and responsibly reviewed.
